A Little About Me…
For the last 29 years, I have worked within the higher education sector. At The Registry, an interim executive placement firm, I have worked with my three partners to grow the firm exponentially over the last 15 years into the national leader within its niche. I manage the marketing efforts and have been the Registry principal on over 200 interim placements and consulting engagements. We have grown the firm from 14 placements annually to 150 placements a year.
Before working at The Registry, I was the Director of College Services for Athletic IQ, Inc. (AIQ), which developed the first standardized test for athletic ability (the athletic equivalent to the SAT test) working on business development in the higher education sector. The company was eventually sold to NIKE.
Prior to this position, I served for over twelve years at Northeastern University’s nationally renowned Center for the Study of Sport in Society where I served as the Director of External Affairs. I was the research director for three editions of the Racial and Gender Report Card, a report whose findings were carried in most of the major newspapers and sports news outlets.
While at Northeastern, I also served as the Director of the Northeast Regional Office of the National Consortium for Academics and Sports (NCAS), a consortium of 220 colleges and universities dedicated to maintaining a balance between academics and sports and addressing issues of social justice in collegiate athletics.
I am active in the community and I am a former trustee of Massachusetts Bay Community College, currently serving my fourth term as a school committee member for the Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School District, a board member of Collegia Catholic Boston Corporation, and on the Parish Council of The Ascension Parish in Sudbury. I have a bachelor of science degree from Northeastern University. Go Huskies!
